Flawless in Five on the left side (your right) of my face. I have tape on my scar

Well, another week has gone by! Pat and I continue to figure out this empty nesting! Two trips to Walmart this week, because he had a gift card, LOL! We both just kept saying, it’s just not the same shopping without our girls. The funny thing is, he never went to Walmart with us, LOL. Friday nights and Saturday nights at Walmart are pretty quiet. The girls and I spent many trips going to get our weekly groceries. They would videotape me throughout the whole trip. They would disappear, trying on costumes, put things on their head, later I would find crazy stuff on their Snapchat. I often wondered what they did when they went to get a few items on our list. Now, my trip to Wally World is me using the drive up -pick up. I pull up, they load up my car, and I pull out. I wish they had this when my kids were 3 to 5 years old.

This week I continue to educate myself and others on the beauty care industry and products. I don’t understand some of the stuff, so I’m educating myself before I can present it to others. My scar continues to heal, yay! I was asked if I was going to have plastic surgery after, I don’t think so. This is a Warrior wound that will probably stay. I earned the scar by not knowing the damage I was doing when I was younger. I will now continue to educate people to take care of their skin. I do think the scar pulled a wrinkle away from my eye, so for that, I am grateful!

Moving onto the food this week , I continued to eat low-carb, low sugar. I started eating some Balance Bite Keto meals that I ordered online. The first meal was very good! The second meal, not so much. I’m not a big fan of chicken thighs! But, it does come in really handy to get a good protein meal before bowling. It only takes 2 1/2 minutes to heat up.

This week I am back to walking. I’ve been taking a friend of mine to physical therapy and my goal is to be back hiking with her this spring! The snow and ice keeps me on the treadmill. I cannot wait till I can walk outside! My friend and I are excited to go to Tucson, Arizona in the fall to join our other hiking buddy and explore a beautiful mountain! This week we had one day in the 50s and then we were back to snow! I’m also going to try to report my walking to Brian. We hope to become accountability buddies!

I bowled this week, and I survived! I had not practiced for two weeks since having my Mohs surgery. I bowled great the first two games. The last game was over 100 and that was all I care about! Thank God I have a handicap to fall on!

I am now signing off, but wishing you a wonderful week! Stay healthy, eat better, and move more!

P.S. I changed my Instagram name to a group that represents people who are motivated to make a change. I also love that it’s named after my dad! By George, we can do it!
